The Big Picnic 2008
The brain-child of Harrogate resident, Rachel Bailey, the Big Picnic now in it's second year has developed into one of the main events in the Harrogate calendar.
This year it moved to the Valley Gardens and helped by the sunny weather was attended by thousands of visitors, some of which took part in the egg & spoon race with the hope of breaking the world record. Unfortunately they came up a few numbers short, so better luck next year!
