About Me
A Cornishman heading northwards......
My interest in photography can be credited to my late Grandfather, who was himself a keen amateur photographer, developing his own work at one stage. I acquired a 35mm Olympus Trip when I was 13 and then moved on to a Pentax Program A film SLR, which I was given as present from my father for passing my O levels. This was then replaced after a number of years of good use with a Canon EOS500, until I took the leap into the digital world last year buying the new Canon EOS 5D.
The digital world has certainly rekindled my interest in photography and my camera now goes wherever I go. My main interests being travel and landscape photography, influenced by the work of Joe Cornish and David Noton inparticular.
I normally work exclusively using Canon digital SLR's but have recently started to use an old Lomo Lubitel medium format film camera, which is proving fun to use!
